| HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION? |
Once you've decided to vacation with us, the first thing to do is confirm availability for the period of your visit by
calling us at 250-721-1039
In
order to secure the property for your use, we require a deposit
equal to 50% of the Total Lease Amount. We accept VISA,
Mastercard, AMEX, cheque, money order or wire transfer of
funds.
We will then send you a Rental Agreement which we ask you
to sign and return to us within 10 days of the original date of booking.
Upon
receipt of your signed Rental Agreement, we will validate the
Agreement and forward a copy to you for your records. Please note
that the balance of the Total Lease Amount is payable no later than 6
weeks prior to your arrival. |
| DO YOU NEED A SECURITY DEPOSIT? |
Yes
- we require a Security Deposit equal to the greater of $500.00 or 2%
of the lease for the period. The deposit is included in the Total
Lease Amount.
Its purpose is to look after any unanticipated
costs resulting from property damage, missing chattels and so
forth. Your deposit is returned to you (in whole or in part,
depending upon the foregoing) 30 days after the end of your tenancy. |
| WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?

Provided
that we receive your notice of cancellation no later than 30 days prior
to the start of your rental period, and we are able to re-rent the
property for a like period, we will refund all monies paid
(including the Security Deposit) less a 15% cancellation fee.
In the event that we are unable to re-rent the property for a like period, the Security Deposit alone will be refunded. |
| WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE OR VACATE EARLY?

| Unfortunately
we are unable to offer a rental adjustment to those who do not occupy a
premises for the full term of their scheduled visit. |
| WHAT ABOUT KEYS AND DIRECTIONS?
|
Once
we receive payment of the Total Rental Amount, we will send you
any information required to make your preparations and arrival as
smooth as possible such as where to obtain the keys, directions to
the location of your vacation home, emergency telephone number(s)
and other useful material.
At your request we will arrange to meet you at the residence to give you the keys and take you on an orientation walk-through. |
| IS HOUSECLEANING INCLUDED?
|
| Your
vacation home is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.
Complementary weekly cleaning is also offered for rentals of 2 weeks'
duration or more. There There is a cleaning fee of $100.00 added to the
rental amount and it can be negotiable for small groups. |
